Role Overview Summary
The Youth Agriculture Engagement Specialist will play a key role in mobilizing youth and enhancing their engagement in agriculture. The role involves capacity building, supporting policy advocacy, disability inclusion and promoting sustainable agricultural practices to foster economic empowerment and climate resilience.
Ideal Applicant Summary
Qualfications
- Must at least have a diploma in a relevant field(agriculture, community development and business administration) from highly reputable University or similar institutions of higher learning.
- At least 3 years; with prior experience in Monitoring and evaluation, research and evaluation and field work position, with good understanding of principles of research methods and proven problem solving and decision-making skills.
- 2 years motorcycle riding experience with a valid licence.

Additional Information
Allowance and accommodation
All volunteers have an allowance paid in local currency. The allowance meets reasonable living expenses in country, but will not be enough to send money home.
VSO works with some of the poorest communities in the world which means accommodation varies and will be basic.
