MET INVESTMENT is on the lookout for an energetic, friendly, and experienced Bartender to join our team!
Position: Waiter
Location: White Elephant bar (Lilongwe,Likuni)
Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of drinks, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Interact with customers, providing recommendations and delivering excellent customer service
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including cleaning glassware and restocking supplies
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system
- Lead Customers to their tables
- Taking customer orders and delivering beverages
- Making menu recommendations, answering questions and sharing additional information with café manager
- Provide excellent customer service to guests
- Communicate effectively to customers
- Keep track of inventory and assist with ordering supplies as needed
- Collaborate with the team to maintain a positive and energetic bar atmosphere
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as waiter/ waitress
- Hands on experience with cash register and ordering information system
- Basic math skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a friendly demeanor
- A team player with a positive attitude
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in the local jurisdiction
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
