
Malawi Electoral Commission
The Malawi Electoral Commission, “the Commission”, is a body corporate created under Section 75(1) of the Constitution, to supervise, direct and preside over the conduct of all elections in Malawi. In accordance with Section 13 on the Malawi Electoral Commission Act, the Commission seeks to appoint a suitability qualified person with relevant experience to fill the following position within its secretariat.
Job Title: Temporary Internal Auditor

Responsible to: Director of Internal Audit
Location: Regional Elections Office (Centre)
Key duties & responsibilities
- Conducting risk assessment of assigned duties and functional area of the Commission within given timelines.
- Conducting Audit testing of specified areas and identifying reportable issues.
- Assisting in the determination of the compliance of internal controls, policies and procedures.
- Drafting comprehensive audit reports.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor of Commerce in Internal Audit or Bachelor of Information Systems or related field.
- Ability to work within tight deadlines and schedules
- Ability to produce reports.
