POST: SECONDARY SCHOOL HEADTEACHER: GRADE I

LOCATION: MACEY WILLIAMS SECONDARY SCHOOL, DEDZA

Qualifications & Experience

We are seeking an inspiring, God-fearing, and visionary leader to join our school as Head teacher. The successful candidate will:

1. Lead the school community to ensure the highest standards of teaching, learning, and student achievement.
2. Foster a positive and inclusive school culture that promotes the well-being of students and staff.
3. Drive strategic planning, ensuring the school’s goals align with local and national educational standards.
4. Manage resources effectively, including staff, finances, and facilities.
5. Build strong relationships with parents, the local community, and external stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS & ATTRIBUTES

The ideal candidate will:

1. Hold a recognized Diploma in Education with 15 years’ experience and Bachelor’s Degree in Education with 6 years’ experience
2. Demonstrate a strong understanding of curriculum development and school improvement strategies.
3. Be an excellent communicator with the ability to inspire and motivate staff, students, and parents.
4. Have a proven track record of delivering outstanding outcomes for students.
5. Show a commitment to the school’s values and ethos, fostering inclusivity and innovation.
