Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in cost management, procurement, and contract administration across a variety of projects. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with project teams to ensure financial and contractual compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQ), and tender documents.
• Conduct cost planning, value engineering, and risk analysis for construction projects.
• Manage procurement processes, including subcontractor negotiations and contract awards.
• Monitor project budgets, track variations, and provide regular cost reports.
• Review and evaluate contractor claims, payment applications, and final accounts.
• Ensure compliance with contractual terms, industry standards, and company policies.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to optimize cost efficiency.
• Stay updated on market trends, material costs, and regulatory changes affecting construction pricing.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Professional certification (e.g., MRICS, AIQS) is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in quantity surveving within the construction/infrastructure sector.
• Proficiency in cost estimation software (e.g., Cost Candy, or similar) and MS Excel.
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC, NEC, or other standard construction contracts.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and report-writing skills.
