Background

The National Economic Empowerment Fund Limited (NEEF) is a government owned Microfinance Institution whose mission is to economically empower ordinary and underserved Malawian (particularly women, youth, and persons with disability) through the provision of quality, affordable and sustainable microfinance services for better health. Job Description

• To manage the administrative functions and human resources activities at Zone level.
• The position reports to the Zone Manager

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensuring that Zone motor vehicles and motor cycles are in good condition. Promptly reporting to head office of any faults or accidents.
• Managing performance appraisal system at Zone level.
• Organizing disciplinary hearings at Zone level in accordance with labor laws and NEEF Conditions of Service.
• Addressing employee inquiries regarding benefits, policies and procedures.
• Ensuring that all new employees are properly oriented at Zone level.
• Distributing NEEF policies and ensuring that all employees are aware of the policies.
• Maintaining physical and digital personnel records, including employment contracts, leave requests and loan applications at Zone level.
• Ensuring that all office amenities are available.
• Updating internal Zone database with new hire information, administration reports, and other employee data.
• Maintaining cleanliness of offices and grounds at all times.

Qualification and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, or any related field from an NCHE accredited institution;
• 1 year work experience in a similar role
