JOB DESCRIPTION – GRAPHIC DESIGNER / MARKETING OFFICER

Position: Graphic Designer / Marketing Officer

Reports to: Commercial Manager

Introduction

The Graphic Designer / Marketing Officer plays a key role in shaping and promoting the brand identity and public image of Swift Capital Growth Partners. The position requires a creative and strategic professional who can conceptualize and execute visual communication materials that support marketing campaigns, client outreach, and institutional visibility. This role supports the company’s mission of driving inclusive economic growth through innovative and accessible microfinance solutions

The role involves cross-functional collaboration with operations, credit, and customer service departments, ensuring that all external and internal communications are visually engaging, consistent with the brand, and tailored to target audiences.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop visual content for digital and print platforms, including brochures, flyers, social media graphics, posters, banners, product sheets, and signage.

• Maintain a consistent and professional brand identity across all materials and platforms.

• Create templates and design standards for internal use, ensuring all departments adhere to brand guidelines.

• Support the design of loan product sheets, client education materials, and marketing toolkits.

• Plan and execute marketing and promotional campaigns for microfinance products and community outreach initiatives.

• Design communication materials in both English and Chichewa for radio, SMS, and local promotional efforts.

• Coordinate with field teams to understand client needs and tailor communications accordingly.

• Manage and grow Swift Capital’s digital presence across platforms such as Facebook, WhatsApp, and LinkedIn.

• Develop and maintain a content calendar for digital campaigns and monitor engagement analytics.

• Ensure the organization’s website remains visually appealing, functional, and up to date.

• Collect feedback from internal teams and clients to evaluate the effectiveness of visual content and marketing efforts.

• Prepare regular reports on marketing campaign performance, visual content output, and client response metrics.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.

• Proficiency in software designs tools.

• Familiarity with social media content management tools and digital analytics.

• Knowledge of Malawi’s microfinance landscape and community dynamics is an advantage.

• Fluency in English and Chichewa.
