Position: General Manager
Location: Serenity Garden, Mzuzu
Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of the venue’s operations, including events, restaurant, and bar
- Lead, train, and inspire staff across departments
- Coordinate with event planners and clients to ensure successful events
- Monitor financial performance, budgeting, and cost control
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations
- Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and guest satisfaction
- Foster a positive and energetic work environment
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hospitality/event management (minimum 3 years)
- Qualification in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts and (or) Business Administration
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Knowledge of food & beverage operations and event logistics
- Financial acumen and experience with budgeting and reporting
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
