Food & Beverage Manager

About The Role

You will oversees all dining/drink operations, plan menus, manage budgets, lead staff, ensure quality service, control costs, maximize guest satisfaction, and compliance.

 

Key Responsibilities
Operations Management: Overseeing daily food and beverage operations, including restaurants, bars, and events.
Staff Management: Hiring, training, supervising, and evaluating staff.
Menu Development: Creating and maintaining menus that reflect current trends and guest preferences.
Cost Control: Monitoring expenses, managing budgets, and ensuring profitability.
Inventory Management: Tracking and ordering supplies, minimizing waste, and maximizing profitability.
Customer Service: Addressing customer needs and complaints, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences.
Quality Control: Maintaining high standards of food and beverage quality, presentation, and service.
Health and Safety Compliance: Ensuring adherence to food safety and health regulations.
Financial Reporting: Analyzing financial reports and managing department budgets.
Problem Solving: Addressing unexpected challenges and finding solutions to keep operations running smoothly.

 

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Diploma (at minimum) in Food & Beverage Management, Hospitality Management or related field
  • Experience: 5+ years in progressively senior F&B roles, ideally within a resort or upscale hotel
  • Leadership: Proven ability to recruit, coach and inspire diverse teams toward common goals
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills; able to liaise confidently with staff, contractors, other departments e.g., Stores and guests
  • Financial Acumen: Strong command of budgeting, cost control, inventory management and revenue optimization
  • Customer Service: A guest-centric mindset, with the ability to anticipate needs and resolve complex service issues
  • Problem-Solving: Resourceful, decisive and calm under pressure; able to drive solutions that balance guest satisfaction and operational efficiency
