Puma Energy
Main Purpose:
The primary objective is to improve equipment availability and reliability in alignment with operational needs by increasing Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) and decreasing Mean Time to Repair (MTTR). This includes approving the Annual Maintenance Plan and Budget (Opex) while ensuring strict cost control based on the allocated equipment budget. Any budget deviations must be corrected through an in-depth analysis of cost structures, including materials, outside service providers, tools, and labor. Engineering management must also oversee contractors and engineering staff to ensure compliance with Puma’s standards and policies while driving key performance indicators across all engineering functions. This is necessary to ensure that Retail, Terminal, Mining, and Business-to-Business projects and maintenance programs are executed timely and delivered to the highest workmanship and standards.
