DRIVER

JOB IDENTIFICATION FACTORS

Reports to : Assistant HR and Administration Officer

PURPOSE, ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Purpose of the Job

To drive and ensure that all the MEPA vehicles are in good condition and road worthy.

Key duties and Responsibilities

1. Reporting to Assistant Human Resource and Administration Officer on vehicles due for service.
2. Providing brief monthly vehicle status report to Assistant Human Resource and Administration Officer
3. Driving staff and goods to various destinations.
4. Conducting daily and routine motor vehicle checks.
5. Maintaining the vehicle logbook.
6. Cleaning the vehicle.
7. Checking and advising on vehicle certification.
8. Preparing periodic reports.
9. Performing any other duties relevant to the post as may be assigned from time to time by the supervisors

PERSON SPECIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications and Work Experience

• Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) with a valid Driving License and three years post Defensive License
• A minimum of Ten (10) years’ experience as a Driver in a busy organization
• Should not be younger than 30 Years and not older than 58 Years old
