
Anti-Corruption Bureau
The Anti-Corruption Bureau was established by an Act of Parliament to receive and investigate complaints of alleged or suspected corrupt practices; to prosecute offences under the Corrupt Practices Act; to investigate and report on the conduct of any public officer which is connected or conducive to corrupt practices; to take necessary measures for the prevention of corruption in
public and private bodies and to solicit public support in the fight against corruption. ACB is in the process of recruiting suitable persons to fill vacant posts as detailed below:
Job Title: Director of Public Education
Grade: 3/E
Division: Public Education
Location: Lilongwe
Purpose of the Job
Reporting to the Deputy Director General. The Director for Public Education shall provide leadership
in the implementation of Public Education strategies, activities and stakeholder engagement.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
a) Implementing the strategic plans of the Public Education.
b) Heading and managing the Public Education Division.
c) Attending Management meetings.
d) Reviewing and updating the targets for the Public Education Division.
e) Providing data to monitor and evaluation section on activities of the Division
f) Taking the lead in budgets preparation for the division
g) Conducting annual assessments of officers.
h) Advising the Deputy Director General on all matters relating to public Education
Minimum Qualification and Experience
- Master’s Degree in Education, Management or Social Sciences recognized by Government in a
relevant field - 10 years’ experience in Public Education, plus 7 years at senior management level.

Details of the Posts are as follows:
i. Employment will be on a three (3) year contract period, renewable depending on performance.
