UNDP does not tolerate sexual exploitation and abuse, any kind of harassment, including sexual harassment, and discrimination. All selected candidates will, therefore, undergo rigorous reference and background checks.

Malawi engages in development cooperation, which plays a vital role in supporting national development priorities. This context highlights the importance of effective coordination and transparent management of development resources to ensure alignment with national priorities. The Coordinator will work with MoFEA to align development cooperation frameworks with the Global Partnership for Effective Development Cooperation (GPEDC) principles and the Addis Ababa Action Agenda (AAAA). These frameworks emphasize country ownership, inclusive partnerships, a focus on results, and mutual accountability to drive sustainable development outcomes.
