We are looking for a visionary and hands-on Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our leadership team and build the financial backbone of our organization from the ground up.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Chief Financial Officer at Converged Technology Networks in Lilongwe. As CFO, you will be responsible for developing and overseeing all financial operations, processes, and systems. This is a unique opportunity to shape the financial strategy of a dynamic company at an early stage. You’ll report directly to the CEO and work closely with the executive team to drive sustainable growth and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA or CPA/CA is a plus).
• 8+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or related fields, including leadership roles.
• Proven experience setting up financial systems and processes, especially in early-stage companies.
• Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and analysis.
• Experience in fundraising and working with investors is highly desirable.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of the Malawian financial and regulatory environment is an advantage.
