We are seeking an experienced Administrator and Document Controller to join our growing team.

The Kangankunde Rare Earths Project in Malawi is the cornerstone of Lindian’s asset portfolio and ranks amongst some of the best underdeveloped rare earth assets in the world. Our assets will provide critical minerals to fuel the technologies of tomorrow, driving innovation and supporting the world’s energy transition.
Through the development of the Kangankunde Project, Lindian is set to become a globally significant rare earths producer.
THE ADMINISTRATOR AND DOCUMENT CONTROLLER ROLE
To support our ongoing growth, we are seeking applications from Administrators and Document Controllers.
Reporting to the Site Manager/Project Director, you will be responsible for:
- Managing the site access and mobilization process for all new employees and visitors
- Coordinating travel arrangements for expatriates
- Assisting with daily and weekly reporting
- Supporting the project team with general administrative duties as required
- Maintaining confidentiality of information and records
- Detailed data management and filing, including contractor timesheets
- Performing other ad-hoc administrative duties
- Issuing and tracking the location of all documents and drawings
- Managing the storage and archiving of project records
- Ensuring all document submissions are compliant with the project document formats
- Conducting regular audits to ensure the accuracy and completeness of all company documents
- Liaising effectively with staff, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure controlled copies of the latest approved documents and drawings are distributed accordingly
To succeed in this role, you will possess the following:
- Previous site administration and document control experience
- Proficiency in using document management systems and software
- Exposure to controlling project, engineering design, and vendor documents and drawings
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Eligibility: Candidates must be eligible to work in Malawi. Candidates will be asked to complete a National Police Clearance prior to employment.
