We’re looking for a 2D Artist to join our creative team. If you’re passionate about drawing characters, designing immersive scenes, and bringing stories to life, we’d love to see what you can do.
Job Expectations:
• Designing characters, backgrounds, and props for comics and animations.
• Adapting your style to fit the tone and story of each project.
• Collaborating with the team to visually shape each project.
• Work on both concept art and story-specific scenes depending on weekly needs.
Bonus Points For:
• Skills in 3D background design (helps us add cinematic shots).
• Experience with visual storytelling (comics, storyboards, or animation).
• A strong, flexible art style and ability to take feedback.

We are Cultural Studios, based in Blantyre, Malawi. We publish comics under Cultural Publishing and produce animated content under Cultural Animations. Our goal is to tell bold, original stories rooted in our culture with a fresh creative edge.
