Job Advert – Procurement Officer
FarOut Property is seeking to recruit a professional and experienced procurement officer to join their team. Interested applicants must have an enthusiastic approach to the job, they will be entering a new position to the company and therefore must be able to demonstrate a self-starter attitude. The company was established in December 2014, it operates primarily in the maintenance and renovation sector and is looking for a dynamic and flexible personality to help the company expand further.
Responsibilities
– Take procurement requests from various departments
– Get price quotes from suppliers
– Problem solve issues relating to lack of suppliers
– To assist STAFF and advise THE MD on all procurement issues
– To develop, manage and co-ordinate the procurement processes
– To be in charge of the purchase of equipment for the organization, contact suppliers, and research offers and quotations
– Track local purchase orders for the company
– Inventory control / stock control in FarOut Stores
Requirements
– Prior experience in procurement.
– Good working knowledge of company administrative procedures.
– Experience in construction industry a bonus.
– Valid driver’s licence.
– Excellent oral and written communication skills.
– Good IT skills.
