Volunteers

The developing Ecovillage Project is inviting persons interested in volunteering, in order to support the rural poor while strengthening their own skills, to join the establishment of ECO-ARMS VOLUNTEER NETWORK, a youth-based organisation to advocate for and coordinate the project in Ntchisi. Participation may be done on line and as visiting volunteers.
Skills are needed in the following areas:
Category 1. Managerial:
i. Project Management+M&E,
ii. Financial Management,
iii. Secretarial and Public Relations.
Category 2. Technical:
i. Social Forestry,
ii. Climate Change,
iii. Agroforestry and other Climate Smart Agriculture,
iv. Natural Regeneration,
v. Agricultural Economics,
vi. Social Research,
vii. Civic Education and
viii. Media+ICT.
The Network envisions to grow into a most successful rural and youth development agent for the government and other organisations in the near future. As of now, it is looking for passionate and visionary candidates who would like to enhance their career, unleash their potential and contribute to this first of its kind milestone in the development history of the country. It moves ahead the UNDP’s Sustainable Development Goals and UNFCCC’s 21rst COP in terms of climate change and agriculture!!!
