PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR

Beehive Centre for Social Enterprise is dedicated to transforming lives through sustainable businesses and impactful social ventures. At our Likuni Phala production facility in Chileka, we are aiming to provide high-quality, nutritious fortified porridge to school children across Malawi and beyond.

We are looking for a Production Supervisor to oversee our daily manufacturing operations while ensuring the nutritional integrity of our product.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Supervise day-to-day production activities to ensure targets are consistently met.

2. Ensure the product meets all nutritional, safety, and quality requirements.

3. Collaborate with the QA and Lab team to maintain regulatory and internal standards.

4. Monitor raw material intake, blending, extrusion, and packaging processes.

5. Maintain and enforce good manufacturing practices (GMP) on the production floor.

6. Lead and train a team of machine operators, cooks, and general staff.

7. Participate in audits and contribute to continuous improvement programs.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Human Nutrition, Food Science, or related discipline.

2. 2–5 years’ experience in food manufacturing, ideally in ready-to-eat or fortified food production.

3. Knowledge of HACCP, FSMS, or ISO 22000 is highly desirable.

4. Strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills.
