MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN

To support reliable operations at our Likuni Phala factory, we are seeking a Mechanical Technician to ensure continuous running of machinery and plant equipment, including extruders, conveyors, grinders, and packaging lines. This position is vital to minimizing downtime and supporting safe production at scale.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Carry out preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on mechanical equipment.

2. Respond rapidly to breakdowns on production machinery.

3. Maintain logs and records of repairs, spare parts, and service schedules.

4. Work with the QA and Production teams to align mechanical performance with product quality.

5. Contribute to process improvements and factory upgrades.

6. Support in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES

1. Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.

2. 3+ years of experience in food, beverage, or manufacturing plant maintenance.

3. Strong troubleshooting skills in hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, and gearboxes.

4. Experience working with milling or extrusion equipment is an advantage.
