Manager Tisunge! Lower Shire Heritage Centre
The centre aims to promote natural and cultural resource awareness and conservation in the Lower Shire Valley of southernmost Malawi. The centre is based in Lengwe National Park, Chikwawa, Malawi.
Tasks:
* Liaise with Lower Shire Heritage Trust, Lengwe National Park, local communities, Jambo Africa (Nyala Lodge);
* Budgeting, Finances, Human Resources;
* Manage the site (buildings, equipment, maintenance);
* Start local projects, e.g. weaving, fruit drying, tree planting, wildlife clubs;
* Write proposals for future projects;
* Run the community library and copy shop/internet café;
* Set up and open a local exhibition and craft shop;
* Oversee running of the maize mill.
