The National Economic Empowerment Fund Limited (NEEF) is a government owned Microfinance Institution whose mission is to economically empower ordinary and underserved Malawian (particularly women, youth, and persons with disability) through the provision of quality, affordable and sustainable
microfinance services for better health.
Following the approval of the Functional Review and the rolling out of the same, NEEF invites internal applications who are suitably qualified, mature, ambitious with a passion for results, respect for ethics and hands-on experience to fill the following vacant positions:
Chief Human Resource Management Officer
(Grade NF4) Tenable at Head Office
The Chief Human Resources Management Officer will report to Human Resource Management and Development Manager and shall be responsible for developing and driving strategic human resource initiatives that align with NEEF’s goals, and shall ensuring effective leadership, workforce optimization, and a culture of excellence to achieve long-term organizational success.
Key Duties and Responsibilities.
- Managing the recruitment and onboarding processes P Coordinating development, review and implementation of human resources policies, Tacos, strategies, systems, budgets and plans in line with the Fund’s Strategic Plan
- Managing disciplinary and industrial relations matters in accordance with Labour laws
- Reviewing payroll to ensure accuracy and timely payments and remissions of deductibles.
- Providing technical advice on performance management matters to line managers and staff to facilitate proper performance appraisals
- Preparing short-term and long-term projections of manpower requirements in the Fund.
- Reviewing Performance Management reports. P Coordinating and undertaking personnel audits
- Providing career guidance services and succession planning
- Preparing and reviewing human resource reports.
Qualification and Experience
- Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Public Administration or any related field obtained from NCHE accredited institution;
- 3 years of working experience at a similar management level
