Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Marketing Communications Officer located in Mzuzu. The Marketing Communications Officer will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic communications plans, drafting and distributing press releases, managing marketing communications, and ensuring consistent messaging across all platforms. The role will also involve writing content for various mediums, coordinating with different departments, and maintaining relationships with media and press.

Qualifications

• Excellent Communication and Writing skills
• Experience in Marketing Communications and Press Releases
• Strategic Communications skills and the ability to develop and implement communication plans
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficiency in using communication tools and platforms
• Experience in event planning and coordination is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field
