JOB DESCRIPTION
We are currently looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee our project contracts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating, managing, and delivering projects on time. We’re seeking someone who can contribute to the company’s operational efficiency and ensure that all projects are completed successfully and profitably. We are seeking applicants with established contract management abilities and a dedication to achieving measurable results.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Take the lead role in the tendering process ensuring quality submissions.
- Negotiate contract terms with clients and subcontractors.
- Manage and resolve any contract disputes.
- Acting as the main point of contact for clients, site and project managers
- Manage all project correspondences.
- Attending site meetings.
- Prepare monthly interim payment claims.
- Liaise between project managers and other internal departments to ensure contract compliance.
- Maintain detailed and organised contract documentation.
- Provide training and support to the project team on contractual matters.
- Monitor contract performance to ensure financial and operational goals are met.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying.
- Minimum of 10 years with at least 5 years in contract management
- In-depth knowledge of construction laws and regulations.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
