EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY

The Malawi Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) is seeking to hire qualified and experienced candidates for the following positions within its Engineering and ICT Services Directorate:

ICT Officer – Infrastructure (1 position)

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Manages network and storage infrastructure (LAN, WAN, VPN, Internet, and NAS)
Provides first-line technical support to all users.
Performs routine maintenance on all broadcasting systems
Plans and ensures scalability of ICT infrastructure.
Manages ICT inventories.
Collaborates with service providers to resolve technical issues.
Monitors and maintains systems.
Implements and maintains security measures to protect computer systems and data.
Any other duties as assigned from time to time

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor of Science Degree in ICT/Computer Science/ Electrical/ Electronic Engineering.
Minimum of three years of relevant work experience.
Extensive practical knowledge of TCP/IP and troubleshooting skills preferred.
Practical experience with storage infrastructure management.
