MHC-Henan Guoji Development Co, Ltd is a Joint Venture between Malawi Housing Corporation and Henan Guoji Development Company Limited from China. The company is currently selling and managing residential town houses in Lilongwe Area 49 Sector 5. The project is called Guoji Dream Town.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the following vacant position;
Quality Inspector
Main Attributes
Detail-oriented, responsible, and team-oriented. Able to adapt to on-site construction environments and handle work under pressure.
Job Responsibilities:
- Verify the quality certificates of raw materials.
- Conduct sampling inspections and issue factory acceptance reports.
- Perform inspections based on drawings, quality control points, and standard specifications.
- Record non-compliant areas in detail, including taking photos and videos for documentation.
- Promptly report issues to the project engineering manager and follow up on corrective actions.
- If three unresolved issues accumulate, escalate the problems to the project manager and domestic engineering department.
- Conduct acceptance inspections for subdivision and hidden works, and issue acceptance reports.
- Submit acceptance reports to the project manager for approval and retain inspection records and image documentation.
The interested individuals should have;
- College Degree or higher in Engineering or related fields.
- At least 1+ years of experience in engineering quality inspection.
- Familiar with quality inspection processes and relevant standards.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in office software and quality inspection tools.
