Position: Business Development Officer
Grade: M6
Reporting to : Head of Business Development
Location: Central and Northern Region
As a Business Development Manager, your primary responsibility will be identifying new business opportunities to drive revenue growth and improve profitability. You will play a key role in promoting the company’s products and services, building lasting client relationships, and contributing to the strategic direction of the business.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Conducting high-level industry research to develop effective sales strategies and solutions
- Assisting in formulating sales strategies and plans, ensuring their successful execution.
- Promoting the company’s products and services to potential clients through various channels.
- Engaging with clients and addressing critical inquiries about the company’s offerings.
- Identifying market opportunities through networking, meetings, and other channels
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Representing the company at industry events, exhibitions, and conferences.
- Preparing compelling sales presentations and actively participating in sales meetings.
- Generating and presenting reports for management to track sales performance and strategies.
- Overseeing all marketing and branding initiatives within the assigned region.
- Monitoring product distribution, stock levels, and customer feedback to ensure satisfaction.
- Managing and nurturing relationships with key accounts.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related business field
- A minimum of five years of experience in sales and marketing, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build client relationships and promote the company effectively.
