CORPORATE FINANCIAL ADVISER
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Corporate Financial Adviser in the Group Marketing Department tenable at our Lilongwe Office.
JOB PURPOSE
Corporate Financial Adviser’s role is to plan and carry out direct marketing and sales of pension and life insurance products which Vanguard Pension Services Company offers to corporates, organisations and individuals. The position requires a strong work ethic and great communication skills during face to face and over the phone sales.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop leads and sales opportunities and follow through with defined sales plan.

Direct selling of Group Business products and services as per agreed budgets, product mix and time scales.

Keeping Managers aware of the status of key accounts through weekly sales reports.

Conduct structured visits to key accounts to provide after sales support.

Addressing customer inquiries and providing technical proposals in a prompt and accurate manner.

Participate in Product Development in order to come up with products which will meet the changing Environment and Market Needs.

Promote image of Vanguard Pension Services Company through information dissemination and communication that fosters good will and best practices.

Participating in sales meetings, conventions and trade shows as directed by
Managers

Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and maintaining personal networks.
PERSONAL PROFILE
- Mature, well groomed, credible and team player
- Must be results driven and dedicated to accomplishing company goals
- Good interpersonal communication
- Good command of business communication including presentations
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATION
- Diploma in Marketing, Business Studies, Finance, or Insurance
- Minimum 5 years dealing with service or product sales
- Familiarity with life insurance and pension products, processes and legislation are required
- Microsoft Office experience required
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
