JOB TITLE: KEY ACCOUNTS MANAGER REPORTS TO: HEAD OF SALES AND LOGISTICS
Purpose Of The Job
Implement and execute our corporate sales strategy/plan to expand key accounts’ customer base and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Developing long-term relationships with clients through managing and interpreting their requirements.
- Establishing the needs of key customers and assist in the development and implementation of strategies to meet those needs.
- Ensuring compliance with defined policies, procedures and guidelines in the execution of sales activities.
- Articulating and engaging in activities aimed at increasing market share through acquisition of new accounts and proper management of existing key accounts.
- Proactively gathering current customer data/information and regularly update customer database to ensure reliability and accuracy.
- Preparing/compiling periodic activity and performance reports.
- Delivering excellent customer service at all times and through every stage of the customer journey.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration/Economics/Marketing/ equivalent
- Professional qualifications or MBA will be considered as an advantage
EXPERIENCE
- 3 to 5 years’ experience of selling within a technical sector to businesses and end-users
SKILLS AND TOOLS
- Demonstrable track record of achieving sales targets
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
- Numerate with good organizational and prioritization skills
- Logical thinker with ability to recognize opportunities for creating new business soles and improving customer services
- Strong analytics DNA.
