SALES & MARKETING MANAGERÂ LILONGWE
Purpose of the Job:
To plan and execute Buffalo Bicycle Limited’s sales initiatives in coordination with the Malawi Country Director. To plan, coordinate, implement and manage sales programs in line with the organization’s strategic objectives and targets.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY
- Strong enthusiasm to learn the technical details of bicycle design and assembly for the purpose of promoting the advantages of Buffalo Bicycles products
- Prospecting new business opportunities and retail shop expansion
- Create a comprehensive annual marketing strategy for selected region
- Develop and maintain high quality customer experience and service management
- Achieve aggressive sales targets for new and existing clients
- Ensure brand visibility in Buffalo Branded sales outlets
- Create and build scalable sales channels (Dealers, Supermarkets, MFIs, NGOs, Mechanics, Corporates, Stockists, Farms etc)
- Build and maintain a client relationship database
- Deliver key financial sales metrics and manage a resource-constrained budget
- Create and report against a monthly sales budget (volume, revenue, expenses)
- Ensuring on-time payment by customers
- Carry out any other duties, related to the job, assigned by management as and when required
Requirements:
- 2-5 years of positive sales experience of FMCG \Products in a competitive environment
- Working knowledge of selected region and willingness to permanently relocate there
- First degree a requirement with Post graduate degree an added advantage.

- Demonstrate a clear understanding of market, Route to market, Distribution network and drivers, upstream linkages and various stakeholders in the product access to target market
- Strong business acumen and entrepreneurial flair
- Hands on capability and work independently with minimal guidance

- Excellent customer service, negotiation, objection handling and Sales call planning skills
- Work in a highly pressured environment and show results
