POSITION: MERCHANDISER
Nutri Foods Dairy Industries invites applications from suitably qualified and established candidates to fill the position of Merchandiser tenable at Chatha, Chileka Road, Blantyre.
JOB PURPOSE
Ensuring that the shelves of retail stores are stocked with our products and well displayed for customers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Stocking shelves and creating attractive product displays
- Determining the need for and implementing product promotions, price changes, mark downs, clear outs etc.
- Maintaining and tracking inventory
- Liaising between customer and company
- Forecasting sales and profits
- Handle supply problems and customer issues
- Analyzing sales figures, market trends and customer behavior to determine product needs.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
- Diploma or Certificate in Sales and Marketing from a recognized and reputable institution. Those with a higher qualification will have an added advantage
- Previous experience in merchandising or retail preferred
- Detail oriented and highly motivated
- Strong organizational and decision making skills
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Commercial awareness
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
