Overview of the Position
The Assistant IT Officer shall monitor and maintain the computer systems and networks of the Lighthouse staff.
Responsibilities (which include, but are not limited to):
- Support on the day to day user issues in the implementation of Lighthouse Information Systems e.g (HR system, Asset Management system and Finance system)
- Support on day to day user network, printers, and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system issues
- Conduct routine checks on office emails, Internet services and data bundles
- Setting up user accounts according to set established policies, procedures, and limitations
- Physical asset assessment and updating asset register database
- Other duties assigned
Required Qualifications, Skills and Competencies
- Diploma or Degree Information Technology or Computer Science.
- Good communication skills, fast learner, able to comply to standards, following SOPs and able to follow given instructions.
- Knowledge in basic networking, systems, Linux environment and windows, cloud and on-premise platforms.
