Applications are invited from suitable qualified candidates to fill the vacancies in the Health Department of Livingstonia Synod tenable at Embangweni, Ekwendeni and David Gordon Memorial (DGM) Hospitals
Job Title : Clinical Officers
Responsible to : Head of Clinical
Location : Embangweni and DGMH.
Main Duties
• supervising staff under him/her in their routine dairy work
• Diagnosing and treating patients
• Examining patients manually
• Referring patients for laboratory tests
• prescribing treatment for patients
• Administering admissions and discharges
• conducting minor surgeries and anesthesia
• Ordering and monitoring the proper use of drugs
• Preparing duty roster
• Referring patients to surgical and medical specialists
• Supervising, aggregating, analyzing and interpretation of data
• Disseminating information of weekly reports to designated officer
• Any other duties that may be deemed reasonable for the post .
