Applications are invited from suitable qualified candidates to fill the vacancies in the Health Department of Livingstonia Synod tenable at Embangweni, Ekwendeni and David Gordon Memorial (DGM) Hospitals
Job Title : Human Resource Management Officer
Reporting to : Principal Hospital Administrator
Location : Ekwendeni and Embangweni Hospitals
Main Duties:
• Preparing monthly staff returns
• Interpreting conditions of service and their enforcement
• Processing terminal benefits for staff
• Identifying and correcting areas of over and understaffing
• Dealing with recruitment and industrial matters
• Identifying training needs of clerical, subordinate and industrial staff.
• Maintaining establishment charts and records
• Management of appraisal and other Human Resource Management Systems.
• Development and implementation of staff training
• Examining the schedule of established offices
• Supervising clerical staff
• Any other duties that may be deemed reasonable for the post
Qualification and Experience
• Should be a holder of Bachelor Degree in Human Resources Management, Public Administration or Business Administration with at least three years experience in Human Resources Management.
• Be technically competent in the HR profession.
• Have ability to work with technical profession with varied backgrounds and lines and able to make decisions and advise management and staff.
• Have strong analytical and time management skills, be conscientious and result oriented.
• Mature, committed and practising Christian.
