POSITION: SYSTEMS TECHNICIAN
SME Clinic on behalf of its client, a fully integrated multidisciplinary security and facilities management company, is recruiting Systems Technician.
The candidate should be a skilled and experienced CCTV, Systems & Alarm Technician able to install, maintain, and troubleshoot electronic security systems. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the effective operation of CCTV systems, intrusion alarms, access control systems, and related technologies.
Main Responsibilities.
Duties and essential functions but not limited to.
Install and service alarm systems (intrusion, panic buttons, electric fencing)
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of security systems
Diagnose and repair faults in CCTV, alarm, and access control systems
Configure remote viewing systems (mobile and desktop platforms)
Maintain system documentation, reports, and service logs
Provide technical support to clients and internal teams
Ensure all installations meet company and client standards
Support integration of security systems with monitoring/control rooms
Qualifications
- Diploma or Certificate in Electronics, ICT, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- At least 2–3 years’ experience in CCTV and alarm system installation
- Strong knowledge of IP networking, DVRs/NVRs, and remote access systems
- Experience with electric fencing and access control systems is an added advantage
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently
- Valid driver’s licence
- Good communication and reporting skills
