Job Opportunity: Sales Representatives (FMCG Distribution)

Location: Blantyre & Lilongwe, Malawi
Department: Sales
Reports to: Sales Supervisor

Are you a results-driven sales professional with hands-on experience in FMCG distribution? We are looking for dynamic Sales Representatives to join our client’s growing sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote and sell FMCG products within your designated territory

• Drive and manage a manual van for route-to-market sales across Blantyre and Lilongwe

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers

• Execute sales strategies and achieve set sales targets

• Ensure accurate sales reporting, including volume, revenue, and market insights

• Prospect and grow new business opportunities within the FMCG space

• Provide timely feedback on customer needs, competitor activity, and route dynamics

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related field

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in FMCG sales/distribution

• Must hold a valid driver’s license with the ability to drive a manual vehicle

• Proven experience with van sales and strong knowledge of Blantyre and Lilongwe sales routes

• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and exceed targets

• Proficiency in using sales reporting systems and basic computer applications
