CARVE Africa (Creating Accessibility for Reproductive Values and Education) is a women-run, Malawian NGO whose mission is to strengthen access to up-to-date, evidenced-based knowledge focused on Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights (SRHR), Menstrual Health, and Hygiene (MHH) using a holistic-community powered approach inclusive of all genders and ages. The ultimate vision of CARVE Africa (or “CARVE”) is to cultivate an enhanced and accurately informed Malawian to see an improved decision-making ability in regard to their own bodily health promoting equal access to education and independent health decisions. Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Monitoring And Evaluation Specialist at CARVE Africa in Lilongwe. The Specialist will be responsible for designing and implementing monitoring and evaluation frameworks, conducting data analysis, and providing strategic recommendations based on evaluation findings. We are a small organization with the need for an adaptable, self-driven MEAL specialist to initiate our frameworks in the head office and in the field.

This position will be a contract role for the duration of our program with the possibility of renewal, funding dependent. Women preferred as the bulk of this position will be focused on menstrual cup and reusable pad programming.

Qualifications

• Proficient in monitoring and evaluation methodologies, data analysis, and report writing
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilitiesCARVE Africa
• Experience with data collection tools and statistical software
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, Master’s degree preferred
• Must be a self starter, able to initiate programs and create MEAL structures from the start.
