Job Overview

The Lecturer will be responsible for delivering instruction in foundation studies and languages, supporting trainee teachers, and contributing to the overall academic development of the college.

The Role

• Deliver lectures in English and Chichewa
• Support student teachers in their academic and professional development
• Participate in curriculum development and academic activities
• Contribute to teacher training programs

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Foundation Studies and Languages courses
• Prepare lesson plans and instructional materials
• Assess student performance and provide feedback
• Support practical teaching and training sessions
• Participate in academic meetings and college programs

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education (majoring in English and Chichewa)
• Master’s Degree in a relevant field (added advantage)
• Experience in Primary Education and Teacher Training (TTC) is required
