An opportunity is currently available for suitably qualified talent to fill the following vacant position in the Leaf Operational Services and ESG Department:

Leaf Planning and Analysis Manager

Reports to: Leaf Operational Services & ESG Director

The position exists to manage the planning and analysis of processes from buying to shipping operations, through consistent, accurate and value adding leaf analysis, reporting, and monitoring. The role is responsible for continuous tracking of leaf operations KPI’s in contribution to the continuity of Leaf Operational processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement an end-to-end operations plan which covers tobacco receiving, packaging materials, factory processing, packed product inspections and packed product shipment requirements.
• Liaise with various internal stakeholders and third-party company stakeholders, in generation of a workable processing plan for third party tobacco to be processed by JTILM.
• Provide ongoing support to JTILM management by analyzing Leaf Operations KPI trends to come up with KPI projections and timely accurate report of analytics.
• Analyze Global Supply Chain Leaf KPI’s related to JTILM by checking data quality and ensure timely submission of the KPI’s in the Global Supply Chain Analytics system.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree of any discipline from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 3 Years’ experience in data management planning, analysis or a similar field.
• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Packages (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
• Good working knowledge of Power BI, ERP, Leaf Point, or similar systems is an added advantage
• Excellent analytical skills with high affinity for numbers
• Strong planning, organizing, analytical, leadership, interpersonal, communication, problem solving, presentation and people management skills. Tobacco leaf skills are an added advantage.
