Job Description
Job Summary
Responsible for driving CRS Malawi authorized passengers/cargo to/ from approved or work related destinations, to properly handle agency vehicles and to perform work related errands.
Roles and Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for adhering to the CRS Malawi vehicle policy at all times
- Responsible for recording all vehicle mileage, purpose of trip, and POET in the vehicle management system.
- Responsible for checking expiry dates on road tax, insurance, and Certificate of fitness on all vehicles.
- Clean CRS vehicles.
- Responsible for Vehicle checks: Water, engine oils, Condition of tyres, Vehicle tools, fire extinguisher, First Aid Kits, etc
- Check mail as assigned
- Does banking/cashing of checks for the office.
- Assist in office work e.g. photocopying, filing and making calls etc.
- Perform work related and authorized errands as required, based on authorized vehicle request
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of a Malawi School Certificate of Education and a qualification in Defensive driving will have a plus
- At least two years experience with a clean driving record
- Good spoken English
- Good knowledge of Malawian roads and locations
- Good Knowledge of the roads, and cities in the country
- Ability to read road maps
- Driving experience in the region a plus
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Self motivated and organized
- Flexible and easily adaptable to change

- Basic Qualifications
- Junior Certificate of Education or equivalent
- Minimum one year of relevant experience
- Strong attention to detail.

General Requirements
CRS offers are contingent on the selected candidate’s ability to legally work where the position is to be performed. Every government has a unique set of work permit eligibility requirements. All positions requiring residence or frequent travel outside a home country must undergo and clear a pre-employment medical clearance; some work permit processes require clearing a separate government administered medical examination.
