Job Overview
Successful candidates will be responsible for supporting microfinance operations, including group formation, loan management, reporting, and client engagement, while ensuring portfolio growth and sustainability.
The Role
- Facilitate group formation and training
- Manage loan portfolios effectively
- Conduct loan collection and disbursement
- Monitor group performance and dynamics
- Prepare activity and monthly performance reports
- Support implementation of projects
- Supervise and coordinate loan officers (where applicable)
Key Responsibilities
- Group formation and training
- Portfolio management
- Arrears collection
- Reporting (activity and monthly performance)
- Enhancing group dynamics
- Loan disbursement and recovery
- Problem solving and client support
- Supervising and coaching team members
- Performing any other assigned duties
Qualifications and Skills
- Diploma or Certificate in a relevant field
- At least 1 year experience (or no experience for entry-level consideration)
- Ability to ride a motorcycle or bicycle
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic reporting and analytical skills
- Ability to work with groups and communities
