Zomba Institute for Applied Sciences (ZIFAS) is Malawi’s premier privately owned training Institution of higher learning located at 6 miles away from the South of Zomba city, along the Zomba- Limbe M3 road. The institute offers diploma courses in the following programs: public health, community development, Human Resource management, Business Administration, and Nutrition & Food security.

Associate Lecturer/Lecturer/ in Public Health
Job Summary:
Reporting directly to the College Registrar, the successful candidate will be in charge for teaching assigned modules, perform learner tutorial duties and carry out academic assessments, conduct academic research and carry out consultancies.
Skills and Competencies
Ability to teach prescribed modules in specified areas of expertise; possess pedagogical skills; be a reflective practitioner, be able to self-evaluate own work and improving practice in order to take teaching and learning forward; and possesses strong and proven academic research skills and consultancy skills.
Qualifications and Experience
- A Bachelor’s degree in Public Health from recognized, accredited and reputable University.
- At least 3 years of practical experience in teaching Public Health related courses at Undergraduate levels. Basic teaching knowledge with International Examining Bodies such as ABMA/BMEC will be a plus.
