Programme Manager – Malawi
Location: Blantyre, Malawi
Term: 1 August 2025 – 30 April 2028 (subject to funding)
Water Witness is seeking an exceptional Programme Manager to lead delivery of our global Just Transition for Water Security (JTWS) programme in Malawi, with a focus on the Fair Water Footprints (FWF) initiative.
This is a unique opportunity to shape water security and climate resilience at national and global levels. The role involves:
Coordinating and delivering complex, multi-stakeholder programmes.
Building strategic partnerships across government, private sector, and civil society.
Overseeing planning, budgeting, compliance, and high-level engagements.
Driving policy influence, knowledge sharing, and impact delivery.
We are looking for a dynamic leader with proven programme management experience (5+ years) in water security, climate resilience, or sustainable development. You will have strong financial management skills, experience in multi- stakeholder engagement, and a deep commitment to equity and climate justice.
Essential: Relevant degree, English and Chichewa fluency.
Desirable: Master’s degree in a relevant field, NGO/donor programme experience.
